Yamaha India launched the YZF R3 on Tuesday for Rs 3.25 lakh. So it is obvious that we compare the new bike with the already supreme bike in the 300cc segment. Yamaha YZF R3

The new Yamaha YZF R3, based on the Yamaha YZF R25 model, comes with a 321cc two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC, four -valves engine churning out a total power output of 42PS and a maximum torque of 29.6 Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.


 

Kawasaki Ninja 300

Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with a 296 cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel twin engine pumping 39 PS of peak power and 27NM of peak torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission.









Speed:

The new Yamaha YZF R3 has a top speed of 180 km/hr.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a top speed of 160 km/hr.

Ground Clearance:

The new Yamaha YZF R3 has a ground clearance of 160mm.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a ground clearance of 140 mm.

Fuel Capacity:

The new Yamaha YZF R3 has a fuel capacity of 14-litres.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with a fuel capacity of 17 litres.

Competition:

The new 321cc Yamaha YZF R3 will compete against the Benelli TNT 300, Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300.

The new Yamaha R3 comes with a price tag of Rs 3.25 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).

Color:

The new Yamaha YZF-R3 will come in two colour options- Race Blu and Midnight Black.

While the Kawasaki Ninja 300 will come in Lime Green and Pearl Stardust White.
